Day 18: Did I or didn't i?

So are you curious?

Do you want to know?

I know you are thinking it!

Did she do it?

Shall I tell now?

Or make you wait?

Hmmm.

Let me first say, that today was the usual for eating. Oh, wait...things got really interesting for my after work snack. I had YOGURT! Yes, I know, I shouldn't get too crazy. The shift from applesauce to yogurt is a wild one, but I took it slow, and I'm feeling good. Dinner was tacos. Jason decided he wanted to use up his sour cream from Wednesday. Sure, ok! At least there is some vegetation in that meal. I had two small soft tacos and one regular one. For my dessert I had a fat-free 40 cal fudge pop. Love those things! The Snack Monster didn't show its ugly face ONCE today. Woo hoo!

Oh, you know I can't keep you waiting any longer. First off, I will say I DIDN'T go for a walk today. I remembered this morning that I have my club meeting at lunch. My friend Kim and I sponsor a multicultural friendship club at the school called Amica. Yeah, I know, but we don't sell insurance. We are planning to round up volunteers to help out at a children's peace day. We want to do "peace rings"- basically a circle of paper (think Olympic ring) with a message of peace written on it. The idea is to join the rings together to display (ideally at an Olympic venue). OH! For those of you who don't know me, I live very near Vancouver, B.C home of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Lotsa hubbub around here I tell ya! We are also trying to get some war toys donated by some kids in local schools. They could be anything from tanks, to soldiers, to guns, and we'd get the kids to transform them into an art project that promotes peace. Cool, eh? Yes, so had that meeting...no walking. I got home and became one with my couch almost instantly. I considered briefly working out, but that idea didn't stick, as usual. But...you will be HAPPY to know, that I rode the darn bike for 25 minutes after dinner. YES! 18 days in a row, baby! I hope the old bod is ok with all this exercise. I felt a twinge in my ankle today riding...but I think I just moved it awkwardly. It's a bit sore, but not bad.

Something cool...Jason bought two tomato plants. YAY! Fresh tomatoes direct from my balcony! Well, one day. Now this is good...made me laugh when he told me...my silly hubby (love the man) named them. Can you guess their names? How does "Tom and Matt Ato" grab you? :)

Stats for the day

Weight: 211

Exercise: 25 min. moderate intensity

Good job today! A fudge pop would be so delicious here in SC, where it was 93 degrees today. Unfortunately, it would probably just make me miserable. I haven't eaten anything in the past two days that hasn't hurt my stomach. I can't wait to get over this "morning" sickness!

OMG! Yogurt!! Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes! Volcanoes! The dead rising from the grave! Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria! Tammy, how could you? What were you … ooh, strawberry!

You really like to tease, don’t you? Just when I’m starting to think that you are going to break my heart and say you broker your streak, you do a change up on me. Okay, yes, it does restore my faith, but the nail-biting leading up to it ids doing serious damage. I have one down t to the quick! It bled!. it hurts to type – especially my “d”s and “e”s. OW! See what I mean?

Those tacos sound really good, by the way. I was going to do a Cinco de Mayo buffet for the game night last week, but half of the guys couldn’t make it, so I postponed it until this week. Okay, I realize it’s actually going to be a Trese de Mayo buffet now, but it’s still going to taste just as good, and food makes the game better!

Anyway, despite your very mean literary style, clearly you are still doing very well. I guess I don’t mind the torture if the pay-off is YES! One more day of exercise! That is incredible and inspirational. You should be very proud of yourself.

On my side, I’ve had several really bad, undisciplined weeks. Nonetheless, I am still down a pants size and it has stuck. Now I gotta get back on track and drop another one.

You keep going, T-Girl. You are amazing!

Troy: I know, with the yogurt...such a culinary adventurer! Tacos were really simple, nothin' fancy for us plain folk. :) Sorry for torturing you with the suspense there. :P I am cruel.
