Day 29: Takin' it easy

I can't believe I am breaking my workout streak!! AHHH!! It's hard, but I really think I need to give myself a rest. Let my muscles take 'er easy for a day.

Today was a Professional Development day at school. I ate breakfast at home because I thought it would be best to avoid all the muffins and such that are spread out in an evil manner in the staff room. Bad muffins. Bad chocolaty....sweet muffins. Er...where was I? Oh yes, so I had my usual breakfast, to which I added a small banana, sliced. I did this yesterday too, but I forgot to mention it. We were served a snack too, and I had carrots and some yummy hummus. I had just a few pita chips too. I think I took, like, three mini tortilla chips and a scoop of salsa. Very satisfying snack! I went back for a few more carrots and hummus too. Mmm. We were well fed at lunch as well. I had a wrap (half was ham with a bit of cheddar, half was turkey) with a half-plate of salad and a bit of balsamic vinaigrette. Later, someone dumped a giant plate of cookies on our table. A WHOLE PLATE! OF COOKIES! For THREE people. Jeeze. I had: One. Small. Cookie. My friend and co-worker Aaron kindly put the plate elsewhere after. Love that Aaron! :) I didn't go for much of an after-school snack (two prunes). Dinner was, not surprisingly....chili! Pretty much the same as last night. I tried to keep my portion down. It was really good!! We still have a ton left, especially considering I've had about 1/2 as much as I usually do!

Ok, so as I said before, I decided to not work out today. No exercise. For the first time in almost a month. Eeep. Ok, well, I did a TEENY bit of exercise, if you can call it that. My lovely friend and co-worker, Kim, had her dance team students teaching the teachers Hip-hop moves. Totally hilarious! Have YOU heard of "tutting"?? These kids are SO amazingly talented. It was actually kind of fun. The best part was getting to watch them do their thing though.

That's my day folks! Nothing too exciting. Tomorrow I will be once again riding the bike. :)

I would also like to thank my lovely followers for reading and commenting. :) I am truly thankful for every word you write to me, and knowing you are reading means a lot to me!

Stats for the day:

Weight: 209

Exercise: 0 minutes  (still makes me sad!!)
